Friday, October 10 - Monday, October 13, 2008:

Columbus Day Weekend.  An Autumn Photo Shoot in Quebec City, Canada, North America's only remaining walled-city, Quebec is a large slice of France located just 7 hours away from Boston.  All transportation, 3 nights lodging, one superb dinner, only $355.00 per person based on double occupancy.  For complete information, download the flyer here, or see Larry Fay.

Saturday & Sunday, August 30 & 31, 2008:

Gloucester Schooner Festival.  Schooners, night marine parades, races, cruises, fireworks.  Two-day event.  

Saturday, August 30 - meet 12:00 Noon at the Park and Ride Lot on Granite Ave in Milton to carpool or travel together.  Travel to Gloucester, and spend the afternoon visiting schooners, etc, followed by lighted boat parade down the Annisquam River into Gloucester Harbor, followed by fireworks on the water.

Sunday, August 31 - meet at 7:00 a.m. at the Park and Ride Lot on Granite Ave.  8:30 a.m.  Cruise to view parade of sail and Schooner races off Gloucester courtesy of Harbor Tours of Cape Ann (http://capeannharbortours.com/) -2.5 hour cruise chasing the schooners in the Mayor's Race.  $35.00 per person.  I need to make reservations by Monday, August 25, so make sure you let me know if you are interested.

Sunday, September 14, 2008:

Boston Harbor Islands -  Leave 10:00 a.m. from Boston, spend the day in the harbor.  Birds, Civil War forts, walking trails, 360 degree vistas, more.  Optional side trip to Little Brewster Island, the home of Boston Light, the first and oldest lighthouse in the country is also available.  Basic Ferry cost about $17.00.  Boston Light tour is $25.00 additional.
