COMPETITION SUBMISSION CALENDAR 2008-2009

The following dates are the Tuesday evening meeting dates when you need to bring in your entries for competition. Every member may submit only one image for each category each month. These entries will be critiqued by a judge and winners will be announced at the club meeting one month after submission.

Sep 16      Bring in – Digital picture files: Five possible
                Open Color: Beginner or intermediate or advanced
                Open B&W, Nature, Creative, Assigned (Photojournalism)

Oct 14      Bring in – Prints: Six possible
                Open Color: Beginner or intermediate or advanced
                Open B&W, Nature, Creative, Assigned Color and
                Assigned B&W (Photojournalism-both Assigned categories)

Nov 11      Bring in – Digital picture files: Five possible
                Open Color: Beginner or intermediate or advanced
                Open B&W, Nature, Creative, Assigned (Portrait) 

Dec 9         Bring in – Prints: Six possible
                Open Color: Beginner or intermediate or advanced
                Open B&W, Nature, Creative, Assigned Color and
                Assigned B&W (Portrait-both assigned categories)

Jan 13      Bring in – Digital picture files: Five possible
                Open Color: Beginner or intermediate or advanced
                Open B&W, Nature, Creative, Assigned (Architecture) 

Feb 10      Bring in – Prints: Six possible
                Open Color: Beginner or intermediate or advanced
                Open B&W, Nature, Creative, Assigned Color and
                Assigned B&W (Architecture-both categories)

Mar 10      Bring in – Digital picture files: Five possible
                Open Color: Beginner or intermediate or advanced
                Open B&W, Nature, Creative, Assigned
                (domesticated animals)

Mar 17      Bring in – Prints: Six possible
                Open Color: Beginner or intermediate or advanced
                Open B&W, Nature, Creative, Assigned Color and
                Assigned B&W (domesticated animals-both categories)

May 12     Image of the Year Competition: Judging will be done at this meeting. All images receiving a 1^st, 2^nd or 3^rd place award this year are eligible. Your eligible prints should be brought this evening by 7:15PM. Digital entries will be brought for you.

Our club is a member club of the Photographic Society of America (PSA) and the New England Camera Club Council (NECCC).
